Wonderful, I Love It
Unfortunately, the unit that arrived was defective computer desk with hutch. I have read a few books by her and her autobiography, so I have a bit to compare to. It comes with a tiny bottle to keep water. Either way this book is purely money in her pocket and not at all worth the time I wasted/lost reading it, and complete waste of trees. I purchased a dehydrator to make healthy treats for my dogs. But I used the spice & cure packs that came with the dehydrator and in about 5 1/2 hours, the jerky was done, and it was excellent! I have had other food dehydrators and after a few months the racks will start to crack, this one is durable, the top holds nicely in place. There are a few low profile buttons on the back that are easy to switch settings with using the LCD, no knobs to turn. Go for it! This book is one of the finest and may certainly be the most timely that she has written. Who do you think the helpers are? The very nice people at Nesco told me that at this point it would be more cost effective to buy a new one that to pay to have it repaired. It’s a smart design to place the fan on top lid as the juice came out from meat or fruit won’t make the fan dirty.
